Construction Site Management for Home Builders & Condo Developers


The H.O.M.E.S. Construction Site System is an optional component of the H.O.M.E.S. project management software system, designed to be used at construction site offices to provide access to information provided by the head office, as well as the sales office for the associated project, and to track the completion status of all work for each lot or unit.

The system provides a construction site office with real-time access to only the information pertinent to the construction process. Financial information collected by the main H.O.M.E.S. system is not displayed in the Construction Site System, since it is not considered pertinent or required by a construction department.

The H.O.M.E.S. Construction Site System also offers fully automated production scheduling to automatically generate the construction schedule, or re-schedule automatically when necessary.

The principle of the system is to maximize efficiency by ensuring construction site offices are kept connected and informed of all details pertaining to a project, as well as providing construction completion information back to head office, thereby helping to eliminate errors and omissions in the administration of construction.

  • Automatic Production Scheduling! The construction schedule can be automatically generated using customizable templates containing user-definable tasks for which the duration can be revised for each lot/unit. Scheduling takes into consideration the contractor hours per day available, (with hours exception handling for holidays etc,) the availability of necessary resources, prerequisite dependency tasks, lot/unit priority, number of workers/teams available etc. Rescheduling may be done automatically. Scheduled tasks may be reported filtered by contractor, task dates etc. even on Gantt charts!

  • Contractors’ production schedules may be automatically distributed via email to contractors using a customizable MS-Word document template. (The emails may also be fully customized.)
  • Contractors production schedules may be printed or previewed on-screen using a customizable MS-Word document template.
  • Scheduled tasks may also be exported for importing into Google Calendar®.

  • Powerful customizable reports available on-screen & printed include:

    • Construction Report by Lot/Unit - displays all construction related specifications for each lot/unit. (May be filtered by Trade etc.)

    • Changes (upgrades/extras) by Lot/Unit

    • Changes (upgrades/extras) by Trade

    • Colours Analysis (What finishes, colours, designs or styles were chosen by each lot/unit, or what lots/units chose each colour, design or style, including take-off quantities in square feet etc.)

    • Completions by Contractor

    • Lot Status etc.

    • Schedule by Lot/Unit (easily filtered by contractor, worker, dates etc.)

    • Schedule Gantt Chart (also easily filtered and presented in Excel®!)

System Requirements:
The system requirements for running H.O.M.E.S. are minimal especially for remote sales or construction site office clients (or local head office clients) using Remote Desktop to connect to head office, because H.O.M.E.S. does not have to be installed on the remote client computers.

Administration is also minimal even if clients are not using remote desktop at head office because typically upgrades are only necessary on the main file server. (We are happy to perform upgrades for you if temporary remote access is granted.)
